Asta’s process technology and products represent a unique opportunity in these realms. Its process is efficient and the only substance it puts back as a “byproduct” is Pasteurized water. Initially, our process will use conventional fossil fuels. However, already we have had discussions with a company to co-locate with their anaerobic digester facility to use biogas derived from their technology as a fuel, thus greatly reducing the need for conventional fossil fuels.
